8” x 1/2" Arbor - 1/4” Spiral Sewn Cloth Covered Sisal Buffing Wheel
8" Sisal Buffing Wheel with 1/4" Stitch Spacing and 1/2" Arbor are the perfect buffing option for aggressive cutting applications. Unlike cloth-based buffs, sisal buffs are made from hard, slender, cellular fibers, known as sisal, which are the high strength foundation of twine, binder, cords, ropes, and the like. The strength of sisal fibers, along with its natural abrasive and grease absorbing characteristics, provide an ideal buffing wheel fabric. Our Sisal Buffing Wheels are closely stitched (quarter inch sewing pattern) for increased stiffness and aggressive cutting action. These sisal buffs are full sisal with a cloth cover to avoid scratches on areas other than the work piece. Sisal buffs are most effective when used on hard metals like stainless steel, steel, and iron to remove scratches. For optimal results use sisal buffs with Black “Magic” Emery Compound. These sisal buffs are designed to be used on a bench grinder, bench polisher or lathe (Check arbor receiver to make sure sizing and type are correct). When loaded with black compound, these wheels will easily remove light scratches and leave your work virtually scratch free but with a dull satin finish (not a mirror shine). MADE IN USA.
